Whether you are a researcher, a student, or simply an enthusiast of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela, our library is open to all those wishing to deepen their knowledge of this age-old journey.

You will find the entrance along the Faubourg de Binche and our collection of books awaits you on the 1st floor, on the left as you enter.
What kind of books can I find in the library?
Our collection includes over 600 books and documents in French, English and Spanish, focusing on the pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela, Rome and Jerusalem.
You can borrow scientific works (in French only), art books, studies, memoirs and personal accounts in paper, CD or DVD format. The catalogue of books is available in different formats:
When can I visit the library?
The library is now open three times a month:
- on the 2nd Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 14:00 to 17:00, only by prior appointment with the person responsible for the day of opening (make an appointment 2 days in advance).
- On the 4th Wednesday of the month, the library is open without appointment from 5pm to 8pm
- The library is traditionally closed in August.

Events at the LibraryHow do I borrow a book, CD or DVD?
Consult our online catalogue to choose your items. Members benefit from a free loan of up to 5 books/month, while non-members can also borrow at a rate of 1€/book.
Is there a deposit?
For certain rare books, a deposit of 10€ may be required, ensuring their safe return.
Can I consult guidebooks in the library?
No, the guidebooks cannot be consulted, but they can be purchased.
You can also order them online.
How do I return books?
Books can be returned directly to the library in Le Roeulx or at our monthly meetings in Jette.
How can I consult the book catalogue?
Our full catalogue is available on our website, sorted by author, title, theme, and even available in Excel format for easy searching.
I'd like to donate books. How do I go about it?
We gratefully welcome all donations of books related solely to the pilgrimage. You can bring them to one of our drop-in sessions or contact the library manager directly to arrange for them to be delivered to you.
