Description: Lessines Procession – 6 September 2026
For the past few years, we have been taking part in the procession for the Feast of Lessines, a town on the banks of the Dendre, famous for its Hôpital Notre-Dame à la Rose and, above all, a beautiful town on the Via TENERA.
We carry the statue of Saint James, which is on loan to the Lessines Parish Council and stands on the site of the former Saint James Chapel, destroyed by bombing in 1940.
We invite you to get in touch if you would like to take part in the procession by carrying this statue of Saint James.
In doing so, you will help raise the association’s profile and highlight the work of its volunteers in promoting the St James’s routes in Belgium.
