It is via Gallia Belgica that we reach the centre of Nivelles with its superb Collegiate Church of Sainte Gertrude, the old quarter of Petit-Saint-Jacques and the Parc de la Dodaine. Just after the Collège Sainte Gertrude and the hospital, we enjoy a green environment. We see the bell tower of the church of Monstreux, enter a small wood and reach the village of Arquennes. We follow the counter-towpath of the old Charleroi-Brussels canal, cross the canal at the lock and arrive at Feluy which is full of picturesque streets. We return to Nivelles by the RAVeL and it is by the via Brabantica that we find the main square and the collegiate church. -Guide: Rita Gilbert
