Description: Walking tour on 21 December – Loop trail around Leuven

Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Leuven station

23 km - easy route

As we walk through Leuven, we will admire beautiful medieval and more recent building façades (including the university library, market halls and colleges). We will provide brief explanations of the architectural style and recount a few anecdotes.

After the Grand Beguinage, we will walk past the Parc Abbey and enter the countryside. We will then follow the Via Brabantica for 8 km to Bierbeek and return to Leuven via the Meerdal forest.

Our walking activities are free of charge – everyone is warmly invited. Your walking friends are also welcome, whether or not they are members of the association.

For all these outings, please bring everything you need for a comfortable activity, in particular: good walking shoes and your picnic. Advance registration with the SPJ is required, mentioning your mobile phone number, so that we can notify you in case of any changes.
