Description: July walking tour – On the Via Mosana

22 km hilly route

From Aachen station, we will head to the Dom (Cathedral) and then take Jakobstrasse to reach St James’s Church. After a few kilometres, we will walk through the Preuss Forest (a magnificent beech forest) to Moresnet-Chapelle (Calvary and Our Lady’s Sanctuary). A little further on, we will enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside and the famous Moresnet Viaduct. We will return to Welkenraedt station via the RAVEL cycle path.

Our walking activities are free of charge – everyone is warmly invited. Your walking friends are also welcome, whether or not they are members of the association.
