Description: Meeting of the companions of Saint James from the ‘Saint-Jacques de Compostelle - Sud-Luxembourg’ relay group in Halanzy.

For its traditional autumn gathering, the ‘Saint-Jacques de Compostelle - Sud-Luxembourg’ relay group is organising a pilgrims' meeting day on Saturday 18 October in Halanzy. The invitation to this day is open to both former and future pilgrims to Compostela, as well as anyone attracted by the dream of Santiago de Compostela.

The day's programme:

· From 9.15 a.m. at Halanzy Church (23, rue Saint-Remy): welcome (coffee and pastries) and presentation of the 18th-century painting depicting Saint James.

· 10 a.m. 7-kilometre hike through the village woods in the footsteps of the miners.

· 12:30 p.m. Aperitif and lunch at the Cercle Saint-Remy, 22, rue de l'Industrie in Halanzy. This convivial moment will allow participants to share and relive their experiences of the Way of St James.

· Around 3 p.m., optional visit, upon registration, to the Mining and Metallurgy Museum in Musson.

Registration and participation fee

The participation fee for the day is €30 per person. This includes morning refreshments with pastries, lunch with aperitif, cheese and charcuterie, wine or other beverage, dessert and coffee. A supplement of €8 (to be paid on site) will give access to the Mining Museum.
