Library of the Belgian Association of Friends of Santiago de Compostela, non-profit organisation 

The Association of Friends of Santiago de Compostela has a library containing numerous works related to the pilgrimage to Santiago. Some also concern pilgrimages to Rome and Jerusalem.
There are scientific and popular science works, art books, studies, memoirs and stories. 

These books are mainly in French and Spanish.

Currently, only books in French are available. The guidebooks are not available for consultation.
The Association has been offering this service to anyone interested in the Ways of Saint James since 2013. Students and scientists are also welcome to use the library for their work.

From 1 January 2025, the Library will be open according to a new schedule.
- The second Thursday of the month from 2 to 5 p.m. by appointment
- The third Tuesday of the month from 2 to 5 p.m. by appointment
- The fourth Wednesday of the month from 5 to 8 p.m. without appointment. (trial period until June 2025)

Access by prior appointment will be arranged with the person on duty that day (third Tuesday or second Thursday) by email or telephone, no later than two days before the appointment.
Up to five books may be borrowed for a period of one month.
The duty roster and contact details are available on the website. These may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
