Description: Cycling loop in Fontenelle and the surrounding area

A circular route around Fontenelle, a small village located between Beaumont and Philippeville.

A 60 km route with an elevation gain of 800 m, guided by Martine and Paul Depotter-Cremelie. 

You will cross the Forêt des Miniers and enjoy the landscapes of Natura 2000 areas, including the Tournibus forest. 

You will pass close to the castle and goat farm  in Acoz before following the paths taken by Saint Rolande in Gerpinnes. The return journey will take you past the castle in Thy-le-Château. 

We advise you to fully charge your bike batteries and bring your charger...

Hervé is still looking for an assistant to help him plan and accompany the cycling trips.

For each trip, please bring rainwear and a picnic lunch.

Our guided cycling trips are designed to help you prepare for your cycling pilgrimage: loading your bike, equipment, specific features of cycling pilgrimages. You are also welcome to share your experience of the route with future pilgrims.
